City of Porterville Declares Holy Week 2025

The City of Porterville has officially declared Holy Week 2025 in recognition of the cultural and spiritual significance of this season and its enduring impact on the community. The proclamation, sponsored by Blessings of Liberty, was adopted by the Porterville City Council to honor the role of faith traditions in shaping the moral, civic, and historical fabric of Porterville.

The proclamation affirms that Porterville’s strength lies in its people—of diverse religious beliefs—who contribute to the city through service, charity, and civic engagement.
